Specific projects for the blind and visually impaired
In collaboration with the Tuscan Museums for Alzheimer's and with the CADIAI Social Cooperative and with Historia S.n.c. Enhancement of Cultural Heritage, programs are active for people living with dementia. These programs aim to offer the territory concrete and innovative support, allowing visits based on direct contact with the works of art and objects present within the Savini collection.
The achievable objectives are: mnemonic, mnestic, praxis stimulation, fine mobility, observation, cooperation and sharing, within a domestic or museum environment.
There are also active programs dedicated to the elderly.
SI collaborates with U.N.I.Vo.C. Bologna Italian National Union of Volunteers for the Blind ~ Provincial Section of Bologna programs dedicated to the blind and visually impaired.
